His work spans the development of Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle for Related and Apollo, to numerous stand-alone luxury residential developments including One Carnegie Hill on Manhattan’s Upper East Side to the luxury residential development designed by Robert A.M. Stern at 520 Park Avenue, south in Manhattan to historic 18 Gramercy Park, and to the East River with the Foster and Partners designed 50 United Nations Plaza.
In the New York City commercial and residential real estate marketplace, Alan has previously worked extensively with Savanna, Capstone Equities, Hap Investments, Swig Equities, and Helmsley Spear.
Architecture and design have played a key role in Alan’s media relations practice including longstanding relationships in New York City with Ismael Leyva Architects and DXA studio. In the early 21st century Alan had the honor to launch the media campaign for the development of the FDR Four Freedoms Park, designed by Louis Kahn and located on Roosevelt Island in New York City.
As a skilled publicist, Alan as traveled and worked in Sao Paulo, Brazil representing Alexandre Allard’s Cidade Matarazzo designed by Jean Nouvel, and East to monumental architecture projects in Turkey with the architecture firms of Emre Arolat and Murat Tabanlioglu. A J Segan Consulting has additional wide global experience working in Dubai for the launch of Nakheel’s Palm Jumeirah.
